Glossary
A Trustee is a grownup. A woman or a man. Trustees take care of our Church.
A Capital Campaign is when members and friends of out church give money to help pay for the work that the Trustees do here at our church.
Oh, the things you have done
church family, large ones and small.
You have done so many things.
I can’t name them all.
You keep us dry.You helped fix the roof.
Now, when it rains, we are all weatherproof.
You help with the boiler, although it is old.
You help it keep heating; we never get cold.
Oh, the things you have done church fam-i-ly.
You help our Soup Kitchen feed hungry people for free,
a warm lunch each day.
Everyone fed. No one turned away.
Oh, the things you have done church fam-i-ly.
You make a place for five groups in re-cov-ery,
and a room for Girl Scout Troops, I think two. Maybe three.
You help keep a Day Care on floor three and floor two.
Children happy and safe, because of all that you do.
You helped put in cameras and you helped hook up the sound,
so folks can see and hear service where ever they’re found.
Oh, the things you have done, I have just named a few of the things you have done,
Now think of all the things you will do!
The End
Thank you!
