On Sunday October 4th we return to the sacrament of communion as we join with Christians around the world to celebrate World Wide Communion Sunday. This special Sunday began in 1933 at Shadyside Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh when that congregation sought to demonstrate the interconnectedness of all Christians. Respectful of current health guidelines, participants will receive individual “communion kits”. If you are not able to worship in person and would like to celebrate communion from home, please contact the church office. We will make sure you receive the elements before Sunday October 4th.
